Woofstock 2010 at Floores Store
A rustic honky-tonk at the foot of the Texas Hill Country helped get Willie Nelson's career rolling. It's also seen the likes of Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, B.B. King and so many more.
So it was fitting that John T. Floore Country Store, nestled in historic Helotes, hosted the inaugural Woofstock on May 2, 2010.
As crowds hunkered down in the best shady spots or camped inside the dance hall, a string of eight bands played live music nonstop throughout the day, rotating between the indoor and outdoor stages. Styles ranged from blues, rock, pop, country, folk and alternative tunes.

The headliner, Sara Hickman of Austin, delivered an energetic and dazzling blend of alternative, folk and pop as the sun slowly slid out of sight, bringing the first annual Woofstock to a rousing close.
